Making a Difference

A few ways The Ryder is environmentally friendly:

• Reusable glass water bottles are available in all rooms and suites for guests to fill at The Nook
• Refillable bathroom amenities from Hunter Amenities: Zenology in all rooms and suites to cut down on plastic waste from single-use amenities
• Replacement of guests’ towels and sheets every third day or upon request, keeping our laundry’s use to a minimum
• Eliminating the use of single-use plastics by using paper and agave straws throughout the property
• To-go containers are made from recycled cardboard and reusable material
• Exclusively offering boxed water
• Locally sourced seafood and recycling of oyster shells to promote healthy oyster reefs
• Bicycles are available for guest use to explore the bustling downtown Charleston area
